Shaun Higgins, the name still makes many cringe, he took his nickname "missy Higgins" to a new level in 2013 with a navicular fracture in the foot after just three games, the least he has ever played in a season.
2013 looked as though it may have been a bumper season for this luckless talent after he enjoyed his best preseason unscathed and amassed 22 disposals along with 3.3 for 115 Dt points in the Bulldogs round one 68 point domination of the Lions.
There really is not much more we can take from season 2013.

According to the Bulldogs' medical and fitness staff, Higgins in running, set to join full preseason training from day 1 and should play in the pre-season competition.

The talented forward has shown Dreamteam ability averaging between 82 and 89 for three straight years between seasons 2009 - 2011

2014 Prediction:
If he avoids injury............................
no I won't even bother saying that as it is inevitable

But he does have ridiculous potential and is a cool head in a fast improving Bulldogs side ~ 80 (barring injury games)

2014 Verdict:

Well, he's going to be cheap, Fanfooty currently has him at 270k, priced at an average of 50, so you're basically paying for a 50 averaging player guaranteed to increase his average by 20 - 30 points, potentially 40+ if everything can come to together for him ~ WATCHLIST

If he was $100 i still wouldn't put him in.   ;D

I thought that would be the general consensus!
Since I've only been dreamteaming for 2 years, I have never gotten burnt!

Adamant

I've never been burnt by him either. In fact, the only time I've had him in my side was when I started with him in 2009 (he was priced at about 200k) and he returned me an average of 88.

Think I'll be locking him in - has the potential to become a keeper and will be ridiculously cheap.

fertalong

If he can string the first 6-7 games together, he will be a good pickup.
Who knows with this guy though. He could get injured in the warm-up and be out for the season lol

Holz

have got burnt by him in the past, if he plays the nab and is scoring alright than you will see him in my starting team.

almost my biggest DT lock in the forward line (if has a good preseason)

Ricochet

Hadn't even considered him but he will be cheap thats for sure and can score well. If he gets through preseason without any hiccups I'll be all over him

Nige

Basically, if he's fit and looking good pre-season - I'll find him a spot. He's got the potential to score really nicely and has shown that he can.

KoopKicka

As much as I wont like it, he has a very high chance of starting in my team Round 1

Football Factory

Breaks down half way through the first quarter/round 1 and scores 20  :o

I understand the price is tempting but im just not taking the risk.
