There is no way danger will get the dpp and neither will Rockliff. We should all come to grips with it now.
I'm glad he's not.
First season dealing with the tag which he dealt with well. Any body who watched that hawks game can testify how special this guy is.
Locked into my midfield.

Danger I don't expect to get DPP. Rockliff though, spent more than half the season pretty much as a forward, and should keep his.
Not sure if I'll start with Danger tbh.

Come on man, how many of the Lions games did you watch? He seemed to play at half forward in the first 15 or so games of the season from what I saw.

kilbluff1985

yep and just need to look at his SC scores they got much better after about round 15 when was finally playing midfield

Nrich behave urself. I watch so many footy games a weekend it's embarrassing. I'm not saying he didn't play in the forward line. I'm not even saying he doesn't deserve it. I'm just sayin it won't happen becoz it makes sense to make him pure mid.
He is too big a gun to have as a forward. It would make everyone's F1 slot exactly the same.
I mite b wrong mate but I am honestly willing to put a wager on it.

Then why did he get it this year?

Dayze

I guess becoz they knew under voss he was a genuine chance to play forward. That won't happen next year.
Time will tell but I honestly am convinced he won't get dpp.
If I'm wrong u can all give it to me... I won't go hiding like tbag did last year haha 😋

I would prefer it if he didn't get it, as then everyone would be turned off by him being a pure mid and he'd become unique, but surely if someone spends over half the year as a forward, you have to give them forward eligibility.

I'm not sure that's how it works man. But all good, we will see I guess

Don't the stats come into it? I think time in forward half is kept for each of the players.
Would love to see numbers for Dangerfield too as I think he played forward heaps. Same with Mitchell as a back.
If it isn't based on stats then its bulls61t!

May actually be possessions in forward/back half, not minutes.

We all know VS make things up to suit them. Last year we had way too many vanilla teams that ended up looking very similar.
If they make Rockliff and danger forward eligible, what half descent fantasy won't select them?
So even tho it makes sense because they both played forward, I don't believe they will make two players who could both potentially raise there averages another 10ppg to 120+.
That's my two cents. I'm personally probably going to pick both in my midfield which tells u they are far too good to b forwards.

kilbluff1985

You have to take into account though that a few guys are losing forward status like Stevie J and Bartel this makes it more likely Rocky will keep it

specky92

I don't know what VS is but why would they give a shower? It's still a level playing field, Stevie J averaged 107 in 2011 and kept it in 2012 I don't see why they'd change it now

Virtual sports is the thing that runs dt/sc. They do all the positional stuff and prices etc

I have been saying this for months, there is no way he will be a forward.

i have him locked for my midfield. Not even contemplating that he will be a forward.
