2013 Supercoach Scores

Nige says: Vivian 'Viv' Michie is a very talented young player who has recently been traded from Fremantle to Melbourne. Michie struggled to play any football in his first two seasons at the club due to stress fractures in his right foot, but his 2013 produced a good WAFL season that ended with him the best and fairest for Peel Thunder. He made his AFL debut in Round 14 as a late replacement for Lee Spurr. Michie has the talent and a lot have sung his praises. He's definitely got the potential to be a great clearance player with leadership skills too. His best attributes are said to be his kicking and usage of the ball, as well as being good at getting the inside ball. So, in fantasy terms, if Michie is named Round 1, you should definitely consider him for a spot in your side. He's got the potential to score well and be an effective player. His price is nice and cheap and Viv should have better job security than some rookie priced players that you could opt for at a similar price. There's a lot to like about this lad, definitely keep your eye on him in the coming months.

Predicted 2014 average: 75-85

could be a decent bargain, make a quick 200K and offload him.

Will be in most teams next year. Can seriously play and will get chances at Melbourne.

Spent two years with a dud foot (stress fracture). Dominated the WAFL this season and won Peel's Best and Fairest. Heaps of talent, just wasn't gonna get too much opportunity in the Freo midfield.

Yeh mate. To be fair 2012 was a breakout year for him. He's always had the talent but never strung enough WAFL games together to show it. Still unproven at AFL level but showed enough this year to play 10-15 games next year imo

Who would he be fighting it out with for a position? Matt Jones?

I like Viv, if he's a forward I'd nearly lock him in. As a mid I'd still consider.
