Nige says: Luke Dahlhaus has a new look. Yep, his trademark dreadlocks are a thing of the past as he snipped 'em off for charity. So, to get you acquainted, I provided the new look Luke so you know which man to spot. Having inherited a Bulldogs favourite son - Brad Johnson's No. 6, Dahlhaus has a bit to live up to and is well on his way there. He floats between the midfield and forward line and can break the game open when he wants to. He'll take the game on and create opportunities. He does a lot of defensive work up forward and he also loves the pressure acts - ranked 12th in the competition for pressure acts (first at the Bulldogs). On average Dahlhaus has been attributed with 21.2 pressure acts per game. Overall, he finished second at the Dogs for goals with 28, third for tackles and sixth in the best and fairest. As far as fantasy goes, Luke isn't the most enticing prospect. He just had to many up and down games and lacked the consistency to pump out a solid scores. However, in 2014, I'm tipping that to change for the better. He won't become a premium forward, but is definitely selectable as a point of difference if you're looking to venture down that path. He produced a few 100+ scores later in the year, showing that he has the potential, but whether he hits the ground running in 2014 and picks up where he left off remains to be seen. So, the questions are: Has the talent gone with the dreads and will Dahlhaus be in the middle of your Supercoach forward street? I think I'll pass.

Predicted 2014 average: 75-85

The 2013 season was a tale of two halves for us. The loss to Melbourne was the low point and from then on we played like a completely different team. Dahlhaus' improved form was a big part of the turnaround. Grant coming into the team and Dickson's return from injury allowed Luke to get some midfield time.

Following the loss to Melbourne, Dahlhaus averaged 20.2 possessions and 1.9 goals a game with a SC average of 96.2

One to consider.

What's your rough prediction for Dahl, meow?

Is mine around the mark?

Ricochet

That finish to the year was pretty impressive and he will one day become a premo but not sure if I can take the risk on him in 2014

Yeah, the predictions are great for a laugh at the very least.  :P

I grabbed him in DT and AF, he's been pretty good. It was between Higgins and Dahl for my SC, went with Missy in the end.
