After listening to Leppa last night would not think Paine will be starting Round 1. McGuanne seems to have that position at the moment.

My main concern with your team is Fasola at F4 and only 3 prem fwds but with prices this year one line has to suffer.

Libba could be a nice POD for you.

alot of people have this kersten from geelong? will a geelong rookie really get much opportunity? whats the word on the kid?

Been in the system a few years and geelong hopes he can play a gunston type role.

Will get plenty of opportunity you'd think, Jpod and Chappy are gone and is probably fighting for a spot with Walker but they'll develop him throughout the year. Will score reasonably well.

Doggoneit

last report I saw on Kersten - he is still in rehab from an injury ( cant remember if it was knee, ankle or what).

suggest he is a long shot for rd 1 - but with Pods gone he is likely to get an opportunity at some stage

kilbluff1985

come on guys rookies are just filling spots until NAB Challenge and round 1 teams ;D

Looking very strong mate! Don't seem to be many issues with that team whatsoever!

Like your choices of premiums in the backline, and I really do like the unique selection of Houli, hopefully he becomes a top 6 defneder. Maybe a little bit risky with two rookie players but both look set to feature heavily in 2014 (KK, McDonald)

Mids look good, maybe now that you have that extra cash and the Round 9 mid in Daisy, you could upgrade Libba to Watson? Don't know if Libba will become a top 8 mid and I remember you saying the reason you had Libba was because he was a Round 9 mid, but it's upto you. Really good rookie choices.

Rucks look alright, not sure on Grundy as of yet, sure he looked good but he only played 6 or so games. Will be interesting to see how he is managed.

Forwards look set, good choices of premiums and Pavlich as your mid pricer, not totally sold on Paine or Rohan but they're alright for now.

Well done mate, best of luck for 2014 :)

kilbluff1985

cheers wato

Houli i think should be more popular with Tigers easy draw

i did say i liked Libba for his bye but truth be told i have a man crush on him lol really rate him i even go for Essendon so it says something having Libba over Watson

Your defence looks great. I like the unique pick of Houli. Could become a premium this year. All other picks look solid.

Mids look really good but no Ablett is a huge risk. I would think about finding a way to get him in.

Rucks are risky but fine with too proven SC guns. If both named round 1 then no worries at all.

The forward line is very weak so I think you will need to find the cash to bring in one more premium. To find the cash I would downgrade some of your expensive rookies or young players such as McDonald, Tyson, C Beams, Boyd and Hogan. I would also have a think about swapping Rohan for Mitch Clark. Rohan has never proved that he will be a good SC scorer whereas a fit Mitch Clark with a great early draw should score very well. Danger and Franklin both solid picks but I'm not sold on a 32 year old Pavlich.

kilbluff1985

Thanks mate

The forward line is weak because the defense is strong which I think is the right strategy ATM kind of the opposite of last year and it's a good area to generate some cash if Clark does well in the NAB I might start him but needs to show me something first
