Tabs says: Towers is a effective wingman who was unlucky not to get a game in the 1s this year after being an emergency for 2 games. These 2 games were the only 2 NEAFL games Towers missed. As well as playing on the wing, Towers was also used as a rebounding back and a leading half forward. Has a massive tank and can run all day. Came back from pre-season and came 3rd in the 3 km time trial. Took an amazing 17 marks in a game against Eastlake but kicked 3 goals 4 for the game. Another future prospect for the Swans and i would love to see him get a couple of games this year in the 1s and i can see him doing that. But he wont be fantasy relevant as he will be used as the sub if he is. Not this year but take note of his name

Tabs says: Kicked 20 goals on 6 games with donuts in 2 of them. Played most of his time in the 2s up front but also spent some time down back hen some height was required. Was playing ok as well before ripping his hamstring off the bone against the Bombers. Have just read this article and it looks like Walsh will be returning back to Ireland if the Swans dont renew his contract at the end of 2014. To be honest i don't see the Swans renewing his contract and i think that he wants to return to Ireland and not get a new contract from the Swans. With the addition of Buddy, Walsh tales a further step down the depth chart up front. He is not relevant and shouldn't even be a depth player on XV lists as it sounds like he wants to head home. If he dos play in the 1s in 2014, it will be sporadically.

How do you guys see Jones going in his first year? Get a couple of games, or just spend his time in the NEAFL?

Quote from Buddy after Jordan Lockyer gave up the No.23 jumper for him

"The number is important as I played in it for many years....."

Also played for the Hawks for many years but that obviously wasn't important enough to stay.....

maybe, medium defender that can be used as a rebounding defender. But back 6 currently Richards, Grundy, Shaw, Smith, Rampe, AJ with Eski and Macca helping out. Shaw and AJs knees may get him a couple of games but whether he is in front of the likes of Laidler, XR, Marsh, Lockyer or Dick on the depth chart or not, im not sure
