by the looks of things Towers is still a long way behind a starting 22
He was listed as a Emerg a couple of times later in the year and is an outside mid rather than an inside mid. Will be up against Jetta, Biggs, Cunningham for a spot
Ah ok cheers mate

although didn't AJ re-injure his leg this year? Is he expected for round 1?

I havent heard that one, he had surgery twice?

From the injury article AFL.com.au

Alex Johnson (knee) His first knee reconstruction failed, so he had a second bout of surgery in August, this time taking the hybrid-LARS option. He is progressing well and will start running on the Alter-G treadmill over the next couple of weeks to gradually build his strength

Mailman the 2nd

Yeah that's what I meant sorry but does that mean he's expected for round 1 or what....

As for Towers, I like him over Cunningham, as he's still a little slow and Biggs is still fairly fresh. I want to at least see Towers get a full debut next year :)

Bird in For Roberts Thompson. They look far too tall otherwise.

Probably swap him and Mitchell around at various points depending on various factors

Surely parker to start on the field over blokes like Rohan ?

Yeah, I would have Goodes and Parker on the field, replacing Rohan and McGlynn respectively, but its mostly semantics.
