I'll be there.
Go Saints!!!
We might get a win this year...not having to play the reigning premier.
It's a much Longer trip than flying to Melbourne for you guys too...don't forget the Longer factor! ;)

This is pathetic. Playing games overseas, when places in our own country (Such as Cairns) aren't getting a game played there. Should have at lest one game in Townsville or Cairns.

Cazalys was packed this year, but it's not massive stadium.  Just looked up the stadium, has a capacity of 12,000. 11,197 went this year, which is the second highest crowd ever at Cazalys, after a rugby league game. ~11,000 people would go to the game if there was one up here. Just remember that AFL is a second sport up here.

Fair enough mate, obviously for you guys you would love to see a game up there. But don't think it is really worth it. :-\

Would get more than one in Alice Springs and probably Wellington as well.

Brisbanes Melbourne supporters robbed again of seeing their team. Coupled with Brisbane playing Hawthorn at Launceston in Round 1 that is 2 games that should have been played in Melbourne for our supporters.

Do not mind the game being played to promote elsewhere but why can it not be 2 Victorian teams rather than interstate teams playing the game.

because 2 melbourne teams pull way bigger home crowds.

Ringo

Know Zip but it cuts down the number of games our Melbourne supporters can get to.

As a melbourne based Brisbane supporter, this showers me.

What about the Sydney based Adelaide supporters? We're lucky if we can manage to see two games a year...

Ringo

Just querying why Brisbane have to do it twice That is all and when draw is announced will we play Melbourne in Darwin again taking away yet another game.
