tell me, what exactly is the point of forever looking to the future? what makes the next ashes series more important than this one, or the 2019 world cup more important than the 2015 one? I don't see the point of building for the future in cricket. Sure if you have 2 players to select from that you want to bring in and cement a spot in the best XI, if it's a toss up, pick the younger one, but otherwise we should just pick our best team for every series, regardless of age.
