Stokes is playing for the sake of his country, there is no more chances for England, and it was a true fighting hundred, that noone else has been able to do for them this tour. There was a clear difference in the type of hundreds that they scored...

Also, if Stokes leads England to a win and then they retain the urn, he'll definitely get a kinghthood :P

Watson was, the I don't even think Australia cared whether he got out for 96 or 103 though. That was the situation of the match, batting for the declaration.

As shown by some of the wiser Australian supporters' heads on this forum, there would've been disappointed had Stokes been dismissed for 96.
