I remember an England vs india test where Bell thought he hit a boundary and that was the last ball before tea so he just started to walk back to the pavillion,  but the ball stopped or the fielder picked it up or something and threw it into the keeper who took the bails off and appealed and Bell was given out. after the tea break Dhoni asked if he could withdraw the appeal, and Bell came back out to bat. I think he was 100+ too.

I think that's how it went. my memory is shocking but it went something like that
