Didn't look out from those slowed down replays...

Twatto gets a wicket, tbh I didn't think that was out, but I'll take it  8)

terrible decision imo. don't reckon he knicked it

That just shows you Clarke's appalling captaincy not to recall Root after he knew it wasnt out, could see it on his face the cheating skank. This stuff ruins bloody careers. The amount of hurt I feel for Root right now..

(Coming from an aussie supporter btw.)

To overturn the decision, they need evidence that it wasn't out.

The two devices they have in place for this are hot spot and snicko.

They both showed no signs of Root touching it, so I don't understand how Erasmus' decision wasn't reversed.  ???

Root can count himself very unlucky there.

Fair go KK - how can Clarke 'know' it wasn't out. The decision got past 2 umpires. Good enough IMO!

Yeah how the flower did Clarke know it wasn't out? Like Steve Smith reckoned he didn't hit it

This:

Amid the howls, some sense, from Ryan: "As much as it's never nice to see a batsmen given out when he probably shouldn't have been, it's pertinent here to remember the DRS is only meant to be used to overturn howlers; if it wasn't definitely wrong with the benefit of technology, one can't blame the umpire for giving it either way."

It wasn't a howler, and even though I personally don't believe it was out, it was extremely close. They can't be 100% sure that the technology is 100% accurate, and in the case of snicko, where it did show something just after the ball passed the bat, they couldn't say with full certainty that there was no error which gave a delay in the 'snick'

I think, given the circumstances, the umpires made the right call. Decisions in England were so much worse than this, don't think people should be complaining about this one too much. Except Root.

More talking about when the third-umpire handed his decision down. If it is like Adel they show all the replayys on the TV screen. Wouldve been shown to the Aussies it wasnt out. I suppose you take them as you get them, but I still feel that Clarke shoulve called him back.

+1, not sure how Clarke would know or it's his fault.

Then nobody should complain about this one. End of discussion.
