Whers the love for Doug the Rug??? :-\
Play 4 quicks :o
Forecast is 38 for the whole match. Don't see them playing four quicks.

Why they will only need 50 overs to get the 20.

The test today starts at 10:30 Local
13:30 EST | 13:00 CST | 10:30 WST

I think Channel 9's coverage starts half an hour before the game.

And sad news today. It looks like Richie isn't going to be back commentating this summer, he hasn't recovered from his injuries from the car crash yet. :(

Bill Manspeaker

England brought Rankin, Finn, and Tremlett along to scare the Aussie batsman, well you know what I mean, they were going to utilise their bounce at Brisbane and Perth. Which is a good plan, considering they have been very weak at Perth in the last two tours. So if they suddenly decide to backflip on their plans and play Graeme Swann, therefore playing Ben Stokes, I will be very very angry. four seamers must play, Stokes isn't needed, Joe Root will do the part time bowling, and they can put a PROPER BATSMAN IN AT NUMBER SIX! Grrrr, this wait is killing me. However, as long as Bresnan plays, I'll watch, then there'll be two Yorkshire players in the XI, which is almost as good as watching Ballance play. :D

Just like to point out that Phil Hughes has made 549 runs at an average of 61.00 in the Sheffield Shield so far this summer... I dont care if its Smith or Bailey out, just get this kid in the team!

Also, haven't heard Chadd Sayers mentioned much? Best pace bowler in the Shield at the moment imo. 22 wickets at an average of 28.04 :o not bad! If Harris cant get up, would love to see Sayers in.

Cutting still should be ahead of Sayers

Cutting has been the best Shield bowler for the last 2 years running and is still doing well this season

Sayers has been better than Cutting.

Scare the Aussies? lol.

Aussies will just pull and hook all day long. Free runs.

With the way our tail enders can bat (and Agar)

We should play 9 seamers and 2 spinners.

Yep, Sayers has definitely been bowling better than Cutting. Would not look out of place in test cricket imo.

i'm still dumbfounded that stokes is in the team, sure he can bowl 140ks, but he's really not a good bowler or batsman... just another nothing cricketer

he's probably got woakes covered, but england really shouldn't have deviated from their traditional selection processes that started at the oval

apparently he's been the best bowler for England by far in practice getting Bell and KP out 5 times in the nets

Roflllll those blokes bowl about 120kms an hour. They are so slow. They couldnt scare a bloke in the under 15s. Ballance is a spud. Wouldnt even call him a batter. Would call him a sub fielder..
