I still think that this is a foregone conclusion. England would need the highest run chase of all time by quite a margin and this pitch should open up a bit day 4 and day 5.

Doesnt take away the fact that Faf Du Plessis batted like an absolute machine. As much as it was boring, being at the Oval itself watching him struggle and struggle, when every bone in his body was aching was one of the most edge-of-your-seat moments Ive ever experienced, especially in the last few overs.
