Can someone tell me why the hell is Chadd Sayers not in the Aus A team? Preparing for the ashes? :o Because it seems a little ridiculous having Henriques as first change.

I totally forgot that this was on GEM.  :-[ ::)

>tfw have exams this morning, tomorrow morning and friday morning so miss the majority of the play for the first three days :'(

Carberry with a very nice knock should lock himself in as an opener for the test side, shifting Rooty down the order like he did in his first couple matches. Cooky, Carberry, Trott, KP, the Destroyer of Australian Dreams, Rooty, Prior, Broad, Bresnan, Swann, Ando. Beastly.

The selectors went for an extra batsman in this match to see who could step up and potentially replace Watson for the Ashes. Really needed another quick in there, Copeland doesn't have real pace and Henriques is not a good bowler.

lol @ australia a, but to be fair, the bowling lineup looks like pure filth (copeland, henriques, maxwell what the hell?) so it's difficult to gauge the performance

hope we haven't just played cook (possibly carberry) into great form for the gabba...

Jukes

Cooky has averaged 302 at the gabba in the past half decade.

David Warner 104 from 87 balls against the Vic's. Get around him.

His return is inevitable. And he's actually good when he really puts his mind to it; see New Zealand in his second (I think) test when he made a patient tonne on a tough wicket. It's just about not being a dickhead for Davey.

He's a natural dickhead though. :P

I get that some people don't like him, that's cool, I'm not here to argue. But I like him, he's a good player and I want him in the Test team.

As I speak Steve Smith brings up the hundred. Onya Smithy.  ;D

so, in two days, no poms bowl and only two bat! God bless the rain ;D

I really would like to see (With so much injury to the very best bowlers) Cutting get a Test gig! Saw him yesterday and bowled very well, far better than the disgrace of our final odi in India ::)

Keep up the rain ;D  less practice for the poms = good
