"B grade professional Australian cricketers of the 90s and 2000s"

You should all look at that facebook page if you want a laugh. The player profiles are brilliant! Brings back memories of some older domestic players too. :)

I liked it, scrolled 3 posts down, saw Scott Muller and my day was made.

Brilliant.  ;D

Don't have a link but Mitchell Johnson has been sent home early from the Indian tour to aid his preparation for the first Ashes Test in Brisbane. He'll now get the chance to play in two Shield matches before the Gabba Test.

Warner can go flower himself. Never want to see him in Australian colours again.

Warner shows the true Aussie spirit #beers #lads

Haha this made me laugh JB ;D

Fawad's picked up career best figures of 6-68 in a Shield game vs WA. Get around him!

BB67th

Well PB, you must be happy with how Gary Ballance has done in the tour match against WA. First ball duck edged to the keeper :P

Cicjose

the second XI playing England has more first choice players than the Shield side does atm vs Victoria

Bailey is 31, he can stick to being the short form leader.
This is one thing I think a lot of people forget...

I know I'm pushing for Klinger to get in, which kinda contradicts... but there are a stack of younger batsmen waiting for a spot. So maybe... out with the lot and bring in the younger brigade?

Michael Hussey was 30-31 on debut

Why knock a block who can put in a great 6-7 years at the top level.

Bailey for tests.

Also Mitch J, would like to see him in. Yes he can be inconsistent but when he's on song he's our best bowler, easily.

So I didn't actually follow the match, as I was out all day, so when I reading your post I started smiling. Then I got to the end of it... :(

He'll be fine, still got another match to get himself right yeah? Then needs to play teh first test. I have a $10 with mate on him outscoring Clarke over the five tests, but if he doesn't play the first then the bet is off. ;)

Cicjose

why would you take the bet off? Ballance could easily do it in 4 tests

PowerBug

There's a release clause for a Pup injury that causes him to miss a test too. However should Ballance be named for the 2nd test, I'll ask for it again, no exceptions, and he can have the head start from the first test. ;)

I'm actually really confident that I'll win.

il put a $10 bet that Johnson will score more runs then Ballance :P

If Watson doesn't get up for the first test, I'm really hoping he does, they had better not bring in Faulkner for him. Bring in an actual batsman like Doolan or Hughes.
