The past two days have been the happiest cricketing days for ten years. one nil one nil one niiiillll

Lets keep the same eleven. You should not change the winning culture for Adelaide. Although it may have draw written all over it with a deadpan wicket it may give the Rogers, Watson, Bailey a chance to get some runs. If they fail there is two players that need looking to in Nic Maddison or Alex Doolan for Perth.

Someone suggested to me today to rest Johnson for Adelaide (although thoughtful) I disagree with as you should keep the momentum going at all costs.

Johnson definitely won't be rested for Adelaide, but it will be interesting to see if Ryan Harris is. Adelaide and Perth have something like a 3 day break between them, so with his injury history they may err on the side of caution.

The bowling stocks are a little thin at the moment though, and the next in line would probably be Bollinger or Hilfenhaus. Not too sure if they should be in the attack at this stage, too many memories of last Ashes.

As for the batsmen, give them a few games. Watson would have to fail in all 5 test matches to be dropped, same with Rogers probably, whereas Bailey probably has 3 games to show us what he's got. I'd like to see Doolan, Maddinson and Silk all get a shot in the test team sometime soon. In a few years time I see the top 7 looking something like this after the retirements of Clarke and Watson:

Silk
Warner
Doolan
Maddinson
Smith
Head/Ferguson/Hughes?
Wade

Would Bird/Cutting be up there? Also Starc? I'm not sure on their injury status's though

Almost agree on this! The arvo session (Not the bit where 9 flowered the ending) Was the most enjoyable for years for me, yesterday also ;D

Apart from last summer when I went to the Oval for day one of course :P

There's a video on the inter webs of Michael Clarke lipping Jimmy Anderson saying "get ready to get your flowering arm broken"

:o Wowee, how are so many injured, that's crazy, Think I'd prefer Hilf to Bollinger as he's a good new ball bowler and gets some nice swing which is something we don't get a whole heap of with the current 3.

me

woohoo!!!! cmon aussie cmon!!!! great win, possibly the best test match win i've seen from australia since 2006/07 ashes series

johnson absolutely crushed england in this test, haven't seen a bowler quite terrorize a batting lineup like this in my lifetime - wasn't like he took them apart with swing and seam, just blasted them out, plain and simple

Cmon, what the hell does Chadd Sayers have to do to actually get noticed by the selectors? ::) The only genuine swing bowler other than Hilfy in the country.

Grazz

Today is such a good day, shame all the poms have locked their doors and closed the curtains, but we know where you live.  :P
