Only problem in our team is Baileys defensive technique.

Give Rogers his time for this ashes at the very least, he survives the new ball well enough and made a ton against England ;)

Yeh Bailey has a bit of net work to do.

Didn't have a good start did he. Gotta be honest didn't mind his selection but disappointed in what we saw.

Rogers looked the worst, whereas Smith and Watson looked solid (watson wasn't 100% anyway) so idk if anyone is gonna replace Rogers next test
Rogers is a battler, never going to look as flashy as Smith or Watto. But his 16 was very valuable, if he has got out the night before then who knows what would've happened.

The guy has made over 20,000 first class runs, he knows his game and has performed at test level. Least of our problems at the moment. Watson, Smith and Bailey all bigger issues.

Mailman the 2nd

The difference between every other batter in the side was they actually had confidence in their play, even though they had got out.

Rogers was all over the place, he got out playing poorly both defensively and offensively and I can't see him doing any better against Anderson and Broad they'll be all over him again.

Watson was not 100%, but he still did significantly better than Rogers did, scored more runs and faced more deliveries. He also adds another backup bowling option

Same with Smith, adds another option and he got 2 ripper deliveries from Tremlett.

There's 0 logic in saying "Rogers is a batter, give him a 2nd chance but dump Bailey"

Cook
Carberry
Bell
Root
Bairstow
Ballance?
Prior
Can't use Prior he's South African. Can't use Ballance he's Zimbabwean. ;)

Ballance seriously has to play the next test, if Australia try to target him with the short ball he'll swat them away with ease. :)

Well done Cook. 52 runs off 156 balls, 2 boundaries. Job is only 20% done though, still need 200 more. :)

Cook and Bell MUST take the score over 300, if they do so, then either a draw or an England win is a possibilty. Everyone says they're no hope etc.., which based on 4th innings chases that is true, however last time around, England made 517/1 on Days 4 and 5, so that score can be made, just need to keep calm. ;)

And, the old Mitchell Johnson is back with that last over. ;) HE BOWLS TO THE LEFT! HE BOWLS TO THE RIIIIIIIIIGHT! THAT MITCHELL JOHNSON, HIS BOWLING IS SH!TE!
