Everyone thought the South Africans couldn't do it.  :P
Well half of the English team is South African so they may be a chance.  :P
Because 2 is half of 11...  :P
They used to have more  :P Strauss was South African wasn't he?
He was born in South Africa, lived in Australia for several years and then moved to England.

I'm not.  :)

I'm a fan of half the side playing this match, and many of the the guys playing state cricket around the nation.

I just so happen to also be a fan of the English team and a number of their players.

2 great days in a row, let's make it 3 and hopefully we won't even need a 5th day,  ;D

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it, but in The Courier Mail, they don't say Stuart Broad's name. They just him 'The 27 year old Medium Pacer' or T27YEMP

Just got back from work and have read the days threads - nice banter aussie boys. Just one thing missing in action is all those pommie front runners. Nothing to say?

I worked with a pommie guy for 10 years and deep down I knew he loved cricket and he only came out when they started winning. Now he is back in his hole!!! I'm just loving the last 5 sessions of cricket!!!!!

me

what a couple days from australia, this test match couldn't be more one sided - and loving it!

stay away rain, and hopefully terrorize the poms again tomorrow!

only bummer was rogers/watto/smith making no runs, and building no personal confidence into the next test when relatively easy runs were there to be had...

Mailman the 2nd

Rogers looked the worst, whereas Smith and Watson looked solid (watson wasn't 100% anyway) so idk if anyone is gonna replace Rogers next test

Atleast the Aussie boys still have something to say wether weve gone good bad or ugly, funny the poms go to water when the going aint good. :P

Why do obsess with replacing people? We finally have a winning culture. Lets keep the same team for the second test. Rogers was a good mainstay in England he also made a solid 16 helping Warner to a good opening stand. (not good runs but give him another chance). The other aspect is you need someone knocking on the door and who is?

Smith needs a long stay and he has attributes with his leggies.

Watson is Watson and will stay mate so forget getting rid of him. A batter who bowls at 140 - every cricketing country in the world would be envious.

Only problem in our team is Baileys defensive technique.

Give Rogers his time for this ashes at the very least, he survives the new ball well enough and made a ton against England ;)
