Why is (Jens) Lehmann being paraded around as the saviour of Australian cricket, the GOAT sporting coach?

He beat a country where cricket is like the 9th most popular sport.

Um, I'll maybe give you soccer and rugby but apart from that... The Poms love their cricket mate ::)

well... seemed to me when England held the ashes, cricket was a pretty popular sport for the Poms... England also have a faaairly big county cricket competition...

I don't argue about common sense things though. ;)

Netball is in the top 3 most played sports in Australia but gets close to 0 media/crowd attention in comparison.
