2 things to say...

TERRIBLE decision to bowl first by clarke, pitch looks as flat as anything i have seen in recent years in australia

BUT at least towards the back end of the first session the bowlers started bowling well... looked like they were still recovering from winning the ashes/christmas for the first hour and a half... collapse after lunch is on the cards imo

The fact we probably won't be batting first every time against South Africa next year, it makes perfect sense to get some practice in early.

It's not really good though

You need to score runs and take the initiative otherwise your team gets bogged down and when you do get out your team hasn't really got anywhere.
