Sorry but, using the GWS players as examples doesn't really compare since, they are all teenagers, so the circumstances are totally different

But you missed that part ;)

they were basically the same age as gunston when he left :S

I thought you were stupid

All the players on the CGS and GWS lists as teenagers got games, rarely do kids get such an opportunity to actually play in their first second year

Nice one genius ::)

So?

Games are games, regardless of the team you're in- players want to be out on the field and competing... it doesn't matter if their competitors for spots are kids as well.

tbagrocks

Yes it does, that is just retarded to think it isn't, want to retract that last comment?

"regardless of the team you're in- players want to be out on the field and competing"

Of coarse they do, but at the new clubs where they actually got to play, everything changes. Not sue why you cant see this

Teenagers played at the Giants and Suns well before their time, tell me they didn't?

Grow the flower up tbag. It's coming up on 3 years since he left- you doging on about a decision a player made when he was 19/20 years old, 3 years after it happened is so much more immature/ childish than the decision he made to change clubs.

...

my point was that players like hombsch/ bruce were playing as many/ more games at the giants  than gunston was at adelaide, and that if you're going to condemn gunston you should be condemning them as well.

The giants/ suns had highly talented starting team... the majority of their best when they entered the competition would have been playing a reasonable number of games at a lot of clubs. Most of them would have been fringe players while they were developing, which is why the suns/ giants struggled early on, but they still would have been getting some games at least. So they played more games than they probably would have at other clubs.

That really isn't relevant- it just demonstrates that if getting games was so important, then players like hombsch/ bruce wouldn't have gone home. Which just invalidates one of your arguments regarding gunston.

Seriously, flower. Holding a grudge and judging some guy you've never met for years, simply because when he was a teenager he didn't want to live in the same city as you is so ridiculously childish.

tbagrocks

Ah right, there it is! Thankyou :)

Except he entered into a system when he was old enough and after the education of what might happen, he still chose to enter

Not sure why you are still arguing but at least you can see that all the players at the Giants and Suns. Wait, no, you missed that point ???

Gunston chose to enter the system, despite what you flogs think Adelaide is actually a great place. Pity he wasn't from Mexico, Columbia, England, France, Afganistan, get the point yet? I doubt it

Gunston dogged us, get over it, yes we will still boo him

Oh right, Gunston entered the draft, got drafted to one of the greatest places to live and chose somewhere better within two years but, yes, attack me instead ::)  YEah, he's no mummies boy at all

Just imagine if us Brisbane supporters acted the same way Re: Polec, Yeo, Docherty, Longer, and someone else who left (probably goes to show how much I care)

This place would be out of control

Exactly. I mean it's gotta hurt to see them doing well elsewhere especially Polec & Docherty. But don't see Brissy fans being pussies about it.
