haha, several decent players have been taken late.

48 is better than nothing.

Yeah, Zippy - know what you're saying but I'm with SydRox on this one ... 48 is way to low in terms of where he was picked up and the development that's gone into him ...

pick 22 might be a bit much with Lamb wanting to leave but 48 is shower ... pick 35 or better imo ...

35+48 for lamb + armstrong/everitt

Toga

If GWS aren't willing to negotiate and have to use Pick #1 in the PSD then that's one other mature ager they would otherwise get that they miss out on... Surely it'd be in their best interests to get a deal across the line!

My personal favourite being Chris Grant at Pick 105 in '88.

Mailman the 2nd

I think considering Lamb hasn't really lived up to expectations of a first round draft pick (although that said out of selections 10 -25 in the 2010 draft, only Issac Smith, Lamb and Wallis have really done anything meaningful)

I think that there's little point playing hardball with Lamb. Don't want to end up like Adelaide and just look embarrassed the next year for not being smarter about trading

Mr.Craig

Timing is a bit strange. I wonder if it was deliberate or he was just really undecided.

my thoughts are he may have just landed in their lap. if i was a club having trade talks, lets say about Everett, i would be making assessments of the rest of the list. And Lamb is the perfect poach target. High draft pick, fringe best 22, had a breakout season. Surprised more clubs werent looking at him.
