Former Bulldog Daniel Cross has confirmed to 3AW that he has signed a one year deal at the Demons.

Mailman the 2nd

Didn't he get delisted?

I thought he'd have to wait for pre-season draft

ADEZ

delisted free agent?
I'm liking Roo's moves, hopefully he can turn the club around

Nige

I think he's moved as a delisted free agent.

The same way Pods has gone to the Crows.

Mailman the 2nd

I thought they had to be dealt between the free agency period but im probably wrong

Vinny

QuoteFORMER Western Bulldogs midfielder Daniel Cross is set to sign a one-year deal with Melbourne.

AFL.com.au understands the deal will be signed off if Cross passes a medical examination next week.

The 30-year old retired from the Bulldogs at season's end, but had made it clear he wanted to continue playing elsewhere.

Melbourne May win more than 2 games next year :o

Have to agree, Roo's is a vey clever operator, he'll reward the Melbourne faithfull very quickly while building something that will stand the test of time. At the very least they will be a 100% better than seasons past, you can take that to the bank.

Toga

Will be a very good mentor to the younger guys in Viney, Michie, Tyson and co.

Ricochet

Another great get by Melbourne. His experience alone will be huge for the kids

Paul Roos is a genius. Come on Melbourne. 8)

Hoping to see a turn around. 12-15?

Ricochet

mmm maybe not next year. Still reckon we'll see big improvement from Roos' work in his second year

Vinny

Yeah maybe that's abit to optimistic but not finishing 17 or 18 would be a good achievement :)
