yeah, we can still get the player, we just can't nominate a draft pick in the same way we do normally for f/s. (how I interpreted it)

could the AFL do anything if the player didn't nominate for the draft until the year after?? they'd probs crack the showers with us and give us more sanctions for "cheating"

It'd be fine if Essendon didn't influence his decision. Whether they could prove that though is kinda hard

Now that I think about it, maybe that's the only reason we were employing Wallis. As soon as we knew we couldn't get his boy under father son, we were like "oh, well we don't need you anymore"*deleted*.
