Because Radiohead are amazing and this is one of their best songs! Don't think I need to explain why I like this song.

One of my closest friends moved after year 12 and no-one really kept in touch with her after that, but I tried to hang out with her as much as possible (so in relation to the song, made sure she was never "walking alone")

The version I have is a live one, where Bono says "flower the revolution", so probably not  :P

I think that you kind of feel the emotion, it's a song which has a very clear meaning, it's almost like a eulogy.

It could be any number of people, it's a pretty easy song to identify to a person, it just depends what you've been thinking of/ how you're feeling.
