i would rather martin too if it was just onfield cosnidering the off field issues Wingard all the way, however last year, the comparison would be a joke ths year you can mount a case for Wingard. Just a very imprsive call from Noz seems weird for it to be punished instead of rewarded.

I also agree, to a certain extent, that stats cannot be used to gauge how good a player is - fantasy footy prowess does not mean they are a star, while another player is a spud because he doesn't rack up stats (i.e. Steve Morris).

But, you have to use them to make bets work, otherwise it turns into opinionated debate and no one can win or lose. :P

Yeah the debate could go on forever and I completely agree that a case can be argued for Wingard having the better season but the criteria and punishments were decided before the season started . Noz even accepted defeat and said he would pay the price. I have the messages in my inbox. But now he has done a disappearing act... Very poor form

Just to let you guys know i did not dog the bet i won big on another bet so i took my missus to Queensland for the week regardless of what everyone says on here i do not sit at my computer 24/7 on fanfooty i do have a life outside of the internet.

Since there was no time limit on when i should upload the picture i could wait until christmas eve to give you guys a early christmas present, i could wait until new years eve to end 2013 of with a bang on new years day to start the new year with a bang.

I told Quinny i would upload the picture but since he has been so disrespectful about the way he has gone about winning this bet i think i might wait a little bit longer. I knew i lost the bet but getting reminded of it every single flowering day since the end of the season has made me loose respect for Quinny and the entire richmond fans.
