Please don't compare Marc Murphy to Nathan Bock..
How did we even get onto Nathan Bock and Marc Murphy in this thread about Steven :o lol

Vinny

I don't know haha. I just arrived to defend my boy. 8)

Fantasygun

I'm not comparing them in ability, The Standout elite mids for supercoach are : GAJ,Pendles,Swan,JSelwwod,SJohnson, Beams, followed by Barlow,Montagna

Barlow isn't elite in SC. Murphy will average more than him

Fantasygun

Well maybe not then, but he's quite high up.
Predicting Murphy will average more than he used to or Barlow to drop or both?
I'm not picking Steven now with a predicted price from the fanplanner

Ricochet

I'm predicting 115+ from Murphy in 2014 but 110+ would be pretty safe

This is his last 5 years
2009: 112.8ave
2010: 111.8ave
2011: 118.0ave
2012: 112.6ave
2013: 92.3ave (injury and sub affected)

AGREED!

Should be a lock in everyone's team!! The people that say i'm not picking him because he can't handle are tag are idiots. (Not because he can) but because he has never been able to, yet averaged 110+ 4 times in a row! So your not going to buy a guy that looks pretty safe for a 110+ average, priced at just 92, all because he can't nor has ever been able to handle a tag...? IT OBVIOUSLY DOSEN"T MATTER WITH MURPH! STILL RACKS IT UP!

Vinny

I agree he is a gun and he is worth starting but I'd  just like to say, it's not that the tag hasn't mattered before. It's more he rarely ever got it. Judd was the #1 tag. But I can see Murphy going back to his best but breaking a tag is part of it. Daisy and Carrazzo coming back should help too.

Bones Bombers

His team mates and coaches are the ones that will help most with breaking the tag, plus being fully fit and running hard. I have seen games where the player being tagged is sacrificed by the team so that everyone else can play their role, which makes that player look bad.
