Fremantle are expected to finalise their 2014 coaching staff this afternoon with the appointment of Claremont coach Marc Webb to a development role.

I know most of you will find this unbelievable but it looks like Cic and I agree on this appointment.  Very good coach/player at WAFL level.

1 x WAFL Premiership as a coach
1 x Foxtel Cup Premiership as a coach
State of Origin coach this year (win against the Vics - 22 year drought)
4 x WAFL Premierships as a player
1 x Simpson Medal (BOG in GF)

Claremont's the team I support/follow in the WAFL, so yeah, I like this. Very deserving of a spot with an AFL club, great coach.

Will look good on his resume:
Assistant to RTB
2014 Premiers

Hahaha, just maybe.

Paul Roos successor maybe?

Claremont member and 17 year fan here.

In the two years he's been with us he's shown very good coaching potential. With a few years at the dockers I'm 100% confident he'll be capable of being senior AFL coach.

Just hope we can fill his shoes well :P
