The 2012 Under 18 All Australian walked straight into the Hawthorn team, suiting up for the first three matches of the year before heading back to the VFL and playing a valuable role in Box Hill's premiership. In the handful of games he played for Hawthorn Jed showed plenty of talent with his tackling being a highlight. He has also shown the ability to be a goalkicker. With Savage gone and Whitecross sidelined for most of 2014 I expect Anderson to be given every opportunity to become part of the starting 21 and I believe he has the skills to achieve that. He is clearly underpriced for what he's capable of and will cost you about the same as a top 3 rookie, if he can avoid the vests then you'll be looking at a healthy price rise.

Prediction - 63 to 68.

At about 200-230k (depending on discount) he's at a pretty awkward price bracket and will need a good pre-season and show he's got solid JS before I pick him up. Very talented youngster and should be a future gun.

I kind of see him in that Whitecross/Savage type role, roving around the wing and moving further forward on the transition. He showed (briefly I admit) that he could be used in the midfield rotation but I'm not sure that will happen a great deal.

Yeah I remember one game, during a clench win or loss point of the game, he was used at centre stoppages alongside Hodge and Sewell - they have faith in him
