Simpson is probably the most durable player in the comp has only missed 3 games since his first season in 2005.Has a very consistent DT average.Moved out of the mids this season and played mainly in the backline.Should get Defender status next season.Not for your midfield but should most definitely be considered if he gains defender status.

Just looking at his news items it doesn't mention him in defence until round 7, probably took a few weeks to get used to the role and then really started thriving
