What a champion of the game. An absolute legend, and it will be sad to see him go. 200 tests is an amazing effort, and I doubt that record, or any of his runs records, will ever be broken.

Probably the second best ever batsman, only behind the Don. Well played Sachin.

I'd say he is the best batsmen of the Modern Era of Cricket. Can't compare anyone to Bradman purely because it was a different game back then.

Can't believe this day has come though. Legend of sport.

Would have to say Lara and Sachin are pretty much level. Both incredible batsman! Sad to see the little master retire :(
