Hannerbery @ 38 is a disgrace!!
Fair enough, he had an awesome first half of the season, but fell away a bit in the second half.

Ricochet

Crowley at 17 isn't. Thoroughly deserves to be that high. Was surprised that Mike didn't have him as high as this.
Loving Walters in the 50 as well

Thanks Ric, Crowley was superb this year. He was hardly beaten all year and was massive Freo's success.
Walters impressed me this year, as he is,so dangerous up forward. He kicks goals and applies a lot of forward pressure.
His teammate Chris Mayne was pretty close to making the cut, but couldn't fit him in.

That is a bit of a generalisation, had a BOG in rnd 17 and didnt play Rnd 23

Got different role at the end of the season, asked to tag which effected his numbers, but still played team role.

As a whole year guide, he came equal 6th in the Brownlow with Pendles (#3) Rockliff (#22)

Yes, he was awesome in round 17, but besides he didn't do a lot and you can't really use the Brownlow as an indicator as they mostly only award attacking players.
This top 50 is only my opinion, so I'm not saying it's right, it's just what I believe.

lol, can't see the top 8 right now because the image is blocked by my work filters....

We have some key differences, but nothing I'm really annoyed about (Roo over Cloke :( )

Crowley had a great season! 17th a little too high

Is a good list, and fantastically presented!

Mailman the 2nd

To be fair, although Hannebery is probably now rated in the top 25 players, his end of year statistics put him around the 30-35 mark ahead of Rockcliff and Douglas

Thanks ossie.
My top 8 was: Ablett, Selwood, Pendles, Roughead, Swan, Taylor, Griffen and Jack.

Ricochet

I actually have Crowley inside the top 10 best players in the competition, possibly top 5.
#1 tagger in the comp who has been beaten, say 2-3 times this year?
To compare... Selwood got beaten on 2-3 occasions as well, one of which being beaten by Crowley

To be fair here, winning "one on one" competitions doesn't make you a 30 player in terms of positive impact to the game

Yeah - its all good! I dont mean to be attacking! I am not going to try and do a top 50 thats for sure!

In general you have it about right, but IMO Hanners had a top20 year not top 40.

That's fine you're allowed to have an opinion  :)
Hanners is a fantastic player, but I just thought there were a few better than him.
