Nige says: Luke Breust is a good small forward for the Hawthorn Hawks who has burst onto the scene and shown some really good football. Breust knows where the goals are and is great with his forward pressure. In 2013, Breust was a strong contributor throughout the season to help the Hawks through to the 2013 AFL Grand Final which they ultimately won. As far as fantasy goes, Luke proved to be a relatively consistent scorer without being amazing. His scores are generally in the 70s and 80s but he can produce tons on a good day. In comparison to others you could pick in 2014, Luke's probably gonna have to take his number and join the queue as there are a plethora of other options. If you're happy with an 80 average forward, then by all means pick him, he'll probably be your handy little point of difference, just don't expect him to set the world on fire. I expect him to have a similar season to this year's as far as fantasy goes with a mix of good and bad. Simply put, there are better options out there, but you could do a lot worse than slot Breust into your forward line. He's an option, but probably not for me.
