My Chumps

Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp A Butterfly is my AOTY thus far.

Other bangers:
Sufjan Stevens - Carrie and Lowell
Joey Bada$$ - B4.da.$$
Ghostface Killah/Badbadnotgood - Sour Soul
Earl Sweatshirt - I Don't Like shower, I Don't Go Outside
Father John Misty - I Love You, Honeybear

Nige

Sour Soul and Earl's album are killer.

Back in high school I used to write up lists of songs/albums/artists for a friend of mine as his go-to guy for new music.

Made one just the other day for him with all the albums I've given a good listen to in 2015. There's a lot of variation.

Will be able to add Tame Impala's new album to it by Friday next week!

List is as follows:

Redemption of a Beast - DMX
American Beauty/American Psycho - Fall Out Boy
Tetsuo & Youth - Lupe Fiasco
F.E.A.R (Face Everything and Rise) - Papa Roach
Smoke + Mirrors - Imagine Dragons
Sour Soul - BADBADNOTGOOD & Ghostface Killah
Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü - Jack Ü
Another Eternity - Purity Ring
To Pimp A Butterfly - Kendrick Lamar
Strangers to Ourselves - Modest Mouse
Run - AWOLNATION
I Don't Like shower, I Don't Go Outside - Earl Sweatshirt
Sometime I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit - Courtney Barnett
The Powers That B - Death Grips
Day of the Dead - Hollywood Undead
Adventure - Madeon
Future Hearts - All Time Low
Cherry Bomb - Tyler, The Creator
Bush - Snoop Dogg
Neon Future II - Steve Aoki
Blurryface - Twenty One Pilots
Talk - Daniel Johns
Forever - Alesso
In Colour - Jamie xx
How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful - Florence + The Machine
Peace Is The Mission - Major Lazer
Drones - Muse
No Place in Heaven - MIKA
Younger Dreams - Our Last Night
E·MO·TION - Carly Rae Jepsen
Dark Before Dawn - Breaking Benjamin
Ghost Notes - Veruca Salt
Communion - Years and Years

Hate and judge away friends.  :P

Blurryface by twenty one pilots is fast becoming my favourite album of 2015, it's genuinely a masterpiece with no filler.

Have also just stumbled upon it, and after sampling the two most popular songs, I will definitely be listening to the whole thing.

Liking the stuff of two Aussies recently,
Run & Hell Boy by Seth Sentry and Break of Dawn & The Ticket Inspector by Chance Waters in particular.

Nige

I really liked the direction of Seth's latest album Strange New Past, the whole thing was really solid.

Got into E^ST recently, she's worth checking out.

Familiar with E^ST, or at least one song, 'The Alley' is a favourite of mine. Probably should give more than one track a listen.

The other three songs on the EP are definitely worth checking out.  8)

So I just did my votes for Triple J's Hottest 100.

Had about 25 tracks in my shortlist, but I managed to cull them down to these:

    Counting Sheep - SAFIA
    Run - Alison Wonderland
    The Alley - E^ST
    Gosh - Jamie xx
The Blacker The Berry - Kendrick Lamar
Music To Watch Boys To - Lana Del Rey
Downtown - Macklemore and Ryan Lewis ft Eric Nally and friends
Lean On - Major Lazer ft MØ and DJ Snake
    Hell Boy - Seth Sentry
    Greek Tragedy - The Wombats

I'm sure others will be voting, feel free to share/discuss.

good picks, like them all except Downtown, trying to do mine now, always a struggle!

Nige

Yep, always so damn hard haha.  :'(

Had to chuck Downtown in, I'm a sucker for anything Macklemore and Ryan Lewis do.
