Freo rumored to have some interest.

Freo would be stupid to pick him up.
They need someone long term not a short term fix.
Not at all stupid. Pav and JPod combo for a couple of years gives us time to either develop or pick up a long term replacement.
We tried Cloke, Buddy and co and came up short.
This would be a good option

Like was suggested on 6pr last night you`d be better off with someone like Jesse Whitefor example who you can contract for 3-5 years get your forward line working well for a longer period rather than short term.

Except we haven't gotten Jesse White. JPod is a perfectly viable option if we can't get a key forward this trade period

I said Jesse White as an example

Gumby is the other option. But Jpod would more than likely be a decent option next year and better than both White and Gumby in 2014

Freo would have to consider J-Pod. There simply aren't enough key forwards to go around in the league.  Freo don't have anyone ready to step up and their premiership window is open right NOW! Mad not to have a crack.  For the record, I think they should try from Gumbledor as well.

Considering he came to the Cats as a fitness coach I reckon he would be able to keep up with the rigors of top level footy for at least one more season.

Yeah I agree although he is not a long-term fix for Freo, who else are they going to get? Now is their chance to win the flag and not sure when another opportunity will come around. JPod could go around two years even. Freo should take a look at him and get him at least until they can get themselves a long term KPP or develop one of their younger ones.

I just gave you a cheer for introducing me to Gumbledor. Brilliant!  ;D

he's an ideal short term fix. A 1 year deal cannot do any harm whatsoever if we can't get anyone else over the line. Rather get Jpod for 1 year as opposed to a hit and miss Jessie White for 4 years on half decent coin

Not to mention, you will have to give up 2nd round pick for White, but nothing for the pod
