Geelong has decided to not offer James Podsiadly a contract for the 2014 season, allowing the key forward to become an unrestricted free agent.

Could be good at Brisbane will Paporone and Close continue to develop. Brownie is 32 also and he looks like playing on so 1 - 2 years would enable further development. Would have preferred Sylvia but that appears gone.

I dont mind it. If he can play 100% for one more year, a good foil for Pav in a year they need to get back to the GF.

Thought Freo were past the quick fix moves didn`t get them anywhere before.
