Well I had a play around and got in Maclaren like you said.  I've got a "star" in Broich and a fairly decent striker now as well.

My question marks are Heffernan and Germano are they first xi?  If not who do I turn to?

The three crossed out players are all 3 weeks plus away with injury. Heffernan will find it hard to break into a team that made last years GF, also Woodcock and Sanchez haven't even been selected in the extended squads.

Monsieur Luigi - ADP for El Capitano? Or Berisha versus an internationally depleted Wellington?

For some reason he has never been able to cement his spot in the starting 11, but maybe with a new coach and Djite out, his time has come.

Roost; good to see you back! I myself have Berisha el capitano, but if you have ADP that is also a very reasonable choice, possibly even the one i would lean towards if you had both.

I see your concern with Montgomery, but with Bozanic gone I think he can justify his price tag.  He should be a starter most weeks, and I think he can push 80 points in all honesty this year (which, I admit, should be the absolute bare minimum for a 200k mid).

I still think my tactic of mid pricers over stars and cheapies is a good one.  Usually when I do fantasy I tend to side with at least one "star" in each line and then work from there, but I thougt I'd try soomething a little different this time around.  I could shave 50k off my defenders if I wanted (two 175kers instead of two 200kers) and put that towards another star mid or upgrade Neumann to a 275k striker, but I'm honestly happy with my balance at this stage.  Time will tell if this is the right tactic, but I'm willing to test it out and make my decision either way.

things im looking at, is i wanted Broich over Garcia but obvisouly limited by the number of roar players, not sure about Henrique but coming back from injury he looks cheap.

not sure about keeper 2, not sure why people are picking itialano, spoonley is named in sqaud but i have no confidence in him.

Hey Chelski, don't play Sportal at all, but your gk/defence features two Victory and two CCM. That means you will rely a lot on their matches for your big scores. i.e. clean sheets
But ahah that's a lot of Victory - including Barbarouses who is out for the first round.

But ahah that's a lot of Victory - including Barbarouses who is out for the first round.

I think Victory will be a bit more solid this year in defence, though I could also be looking through biased eyes.  Central Coast have always been good for clean sheets as well, so I'm not too fussed about having two in there.  I could go Sainsbury to Topor-Stanley or Beauchamp, but that wouldn't leave me with much cash in the bank.  In saying that, Polenz is a bit cheaper than Sainsbury and they both had similar averages last season (Polenz slightly less than Sainsbury).  I could switch Coe/Thomas out for Theo/Acton and switch Sainsbury for Polenz and still have slightly more cash left than before.  Actually, I think I've just talked myself into doing that now, lol.

As for the Victory players I do support them, but they're also all bargains tbh.  I also know Barbarouses is out which is why he's on my bench, but at that price I want to keep him as I think he'll have a good year, and I didn't want to waste a trade bringing him in when he comes back from the international break.
