Hoping your analysis is spot on Doc!

Hopefully no complications and he regains full health!

They cancelled/abandoned the rest of the round because of this tragic incident.

Kinda happy as a Vic supporter about that, WA were walloping us.

Was the right thing to do.

Cricket means nothing when there's a tragedy such as this.

Without a doubt, I'm sure cricket is the last thing on the community's mind right now.

Latest update is that the pressure on his brain remains stable. Still in critical condition and is set to have scans soon.

Jay

Condition remains unchanged. Still critical.

Agree with cancelling complete round.  Undoubtedly players would not be able to concentrate fully on the game so best to cancel.
Trust the ACA monitor Abbot as well as it was not his fault and no doubt will be feeling shocking.  Would hate to see a promising career cut short due to inadequate follow up and support at this emotional time for Sean,

Let's all be optimistic.

My question to those who play cricket is this...

How will he ever face a fast bowler again?

That will take some guts.

Capper

You do need to get back up on the bike and try again as the saying goes

but the first thing Hughesy needs to do is get well and back on his feet.

Cricket should be the last thing on his mind but also a goal for him to focus on and ge back to doing

Sickening incident, only watched it once and felt sick when he collasped to the ground

Will doubt himself against every short bowl now. Will be tough to bounce back from this one. But if anyone can do it. He can!
