Howson is an interesting one. Long way off having an AFL body but has a fair bit of talent

Nige

Not sure whether Crichton will be missed, his hair might be though.

Yep, sad to see Pitt retire  :)
Did you guys reckon he was going to make it as a player?

Cicjose

he was  a gun player by all accounts when he played at WAFL level so yeah i did

valkorum

Lots of conjecture as to whether he would make it or not - seeing as we selected him over Jack Darling.  He was always going to be a project player as he was really skinny when drafted but he had great skills.  He had put on some decent weight during his time but then his heart issue was detected at the start of this season.

CrowsFan

Interesting they play Forster in round 23 then delist him. Thought he was meant to have a bit of talent too?

Vinny

Wow that is sad news for Pitt :(

Best of luck to him!

The stress of AFL football would put to much pressure on Pitt's heart making it a life threatening condition. Had he tried to train or play a game he could have had a heart attack on the field. He knew he had to retire when the news first broke at the start of the season after a few specialist opinions. What an ishy way to have to give away the game, hopefully he can get a coaching gig somewhere to stay involved with the sport in some capacity.

Capper

dam, really feel for Pitt, hopefully Freo can get him a job in the club
