i just find it amazing they could pull it off. really sucks.

I am loving the very big assumption that it will actually work on field..this is now a very big Swans forward line that hasn't been all that successful a strategy over the past few years by any team... 8)

i'm still interested as to how they are structuring the deal - ie front or back loading ... 9yrs is a long time and Swans might be compromising the future beyond the next 3-4yrs??   ???   :o   :-\    ;)

He was saying that, but TBH, what has stopped anyone from signing 12year deals already?

From players POV, whats to say they wont be worth more in 4years??
From a clubs, whats to say they break down or worth less in 4 years??

Its all about risk. I feel better signing Buddy to a 9 year deal than I would signing Mitchell to 12 years.
