Question have the people downvoting avatar actually watched it?

ever consider ppl may not have seen it therefore cannot rate it highly?
not that i have down voted it just saying

for example: how many episodes of SOA have you watched? for your down voting
my point is even if you have watched some even if you haven't
different ppl like different shows
and also you must give a minus vote maybe some know the rest except that one?
so downvote for that reason or as KB says maybe to get a more favorite show inducted
could be a number of reasons

My reason for neg voting Avatar is to get Seinfeld in. Once Seinfeld is in I'll keep bumping up the shows I think should be inducted  in the top 20 and neg voting the odd ones out.

Broaden your horizons and think outside all the newer tv shows to the older ones like other people are.

Honestly can't believe you all voted Sherlock out, it's so much better than some of the crap on the board right now. Yes Parks and Rec is funny, but it's not all that different from any other sit com going around.

Friends should have been in the list well ahead of HIMYM or any other sit com. It was basically the template for HIMYM, and probably the best sit com ever!

That's not what I was saying at all tbag ::)

I do enjoy watching The League and TBBT, but I'm saying there are far better shows out there that deserve to be on the list before shows like that are.

I have watched many shows in the imdb top 250 shows I struggle to find a new show to watch now and have watched many older series

And I never said it makes my opinion correct LF said I need to broaden my horizon with tv shows was just saying it's already very broad
