Cannot see that happening at all.

Dom Sheed is on his way to WCE with pick 6 and Yeo with pick 40. Why would we help the Pies?

I think it's nearly as good as done from what I've heard, but i can be proven wrong. Sheed will still be around at pick #11, and you'd be paying overs for him at #6. You get pick #27 instead of #40, that's why it's a good deal.

elephants

Willing to put everything I own on Sheed going before pick 11.

And Brissie can have 40 or give him to us for free in he PSD :P

That's a very big call mate! Ill keep you to that haha
I think Kade Kolodjashniv has risen to calculations at pick #5 for Gold Coast, aswell as Josh Kelly in serious contemplation to go pick #2 at GWS. Scharenberg at #3, Aish at #4, Billings at #6, Bontompelli at #7, McDonald at #8, Lennon at #9, Freeman at #10, Sheed at #11. That's what I think anyway.

Draft night just became a lot more interesting :P

I cant see how #6 and #40 for #11 and #27 is worth it for west coast??

I think the logic behind it is that they only move a few spots down the draft order and then get two second round picks. They then send the first of their second rounders to Brissie to snare Yeo and then it still leaves them with a second round pick only about 4 down the order.

I think that's why it's all going down.  ???

elephants

So its Brissie's fault :P

Big Mac

I think the reason they might be willing to go from 6 to 11 is that there are several mids around that mark that are all similar in ability. Boyd, Aish, Kelly, Scharenberg, Billings and McDonald should all go within the first 8, with Freeman, Sheed, Crouch, Bontempelli and Salem making up the rest. So regardless of whether they have pick 6 or pick 11, West Coast should still be able to pick up a good mid.

It could also be because they want Dom Sheed but don't want to be seen using Pick 6 for him when 11 is about where he should go.

elephants

Phwoar this'll be a very interesting draft

Hang on, is it Pick 10 or 11 that the Eagles are getting, I swear I read it was 10, the higher of Collingwood's back-to-back picks.

Boyd, Kelly, Aish, Billings, Schaz, Lennon, Kolodjashnij, McDonald, Freeman

(Not in order ^)

That's my guess... Which means Eagles will grab Sheed at 10.
