Baby,bath water.
Reverting back.
Why would you be so down after such a good season?Ok we didn't win, but we got further than 16 other sides,We danced at the big dance.
Why is next year our last chance!!!Why is Clarke a dud!!!
We have come a long way over the last three years, do you seriously think we are going to go backwards to where we were years back.
Stop being sad sacks and support your(!!!!!!?????) team.Show some support.Don't jump off just because we lost the GF.
People who are like that we don't want or need as supporters of our club.
Get on board and stay on board.

No point making the final dance if you aren't going to participate from the start..... just because you don't like the music doesn't mean you wait for the music to stop and the devil to take over

Why is next year our last chance!!!

Pavlich, Sandilands and Mcpharlin all missed massive chunks of football this year, they arent getting any younger and injuries are going to be more prevalent with no likely replacements coming through

Why is Clarke a dud!!!

Clarke is rubbish, very poor forward, his athletic capacity in the ruck is too easily combated by body contact

We have come a long way over the last three years, do you seriously think we are going to go backwards to where we were years back.

the administration has never been an issue... but the question you now have to ask is why after 4 attempts as a senior coach, Ross Lyon has failed to get it right on the last day of the season?

Ross Lyon takes over big clubs and makes them competitive but more often than not have found ways to lose grand finals in matches that his coaching have given his team an "edge" over every team..... except on Grand final day. He has failed to prove that he is a winner

and yet you finished 3rd on the home and away ladder and made it to a grand final, and lost by only 15 points after having made so many mistakes....

yet Freo's future isn't looking good.....

not sure why my full reply has been quoted ???

Hawthorn didn't play as well as Collingwood in 2010 if they had the margin would have been > 12 goals
Hawks didn't win by >12 goals because Freo didn't let them. Some of the players may have been a bit overawed, their kicking for goal and disposal in general was often average, but they still made the Hawks earn it.

My estimate is that 99% of football followers now have great respect for Freo and are worried come 2014.

Can't see them slipping too much lower than 4th.

Honestly Cic i don't know if you even watch our games.
Clarke is not a dud. He is a 22 yr old ruckman and will actually be a star. Most ruckman cannot compete at AFL level until 23-24-25
There is nothing wrong with Ross or his game plan. He has been within a bee's dick of a couple of premiership and it was our defensive game plan that kept Hawks to such a low score that we were always in the game even though we played so terribly and missed so many goals.
Our kids are still kids and 90% of the rest hadn't played in a game as big as that. All players will benefit from the experience and the hurt and be better for it next year.
Yes we have oldies. But Clarke will replace Sandi and we have plenty of young talls who will develop over the next couple of years for when Pav and McPharin finish up.
Our players lost that GF, not Ross.
We will be back bigger and better next year

Stop being so negative mate. The loss hurt me just as much as any long time Freo supporter but there are positives from the year and its time to get over it
