The fact that the ratings were so close and I only managed 158 is shocking. I should've won that game by more. Glad to have won of course but not happy with the performance considering the ratings.l

Correct, my team has been performing like absolute crap this season, to only score 158 is another terrible effort. I expect to win games where I'm outrated by 15-20k on these pitches, this game was so close there's something wrong somewhere. Hopefully tomorrow is better, I seem to be on the same conditions against a better opponent.

Nails

Maybe I should have saved the guy who is clearly my best batter for the middle order vs. Pyro

run out 1st over ::)

Am opening with a bowler too though.

C. Hayes 1-0-3-0, M. Rafiq 0 (2b), J. Rabou 0 (1b)
End of over 1 (6 runs) - New Jersey Devils(6-1) RR 6.00

PowerBug

8.6 W Hayes to Rafiq : Big appeal! And it's given! Hayes hit 150 kph with that ball and that's the sort of bowling a captain wants. No need for much movement or guile, just pure pace and a rap on the pads.M. Rafiq lbw b. C. Hayes 20 (31b 1x4 1x6) SR:64.52

I know it's a Sunny/Flat, so that strike rate is considerably slow, but that is a big win Nails, only thing that would've been better is your actual batmsan making through 10 overs. :P I'm guessing you are liking the idea now? I might need to think of something different to be ahead of you again haha

Cyrus

your an idiot PB i lost 7/53 with no RR pressure what so ever and outrated you,and your upset???

PowerBug

I expected to score more than that, and I've made teams crumble like that because that is how I set my bowling orders, for the collapse around 35-40th over mark. I knew I was going to win before the match started (I actually thought you rated 210k+) and it was so close that yes I can be upset. :P Maybe it's because my players have exceeded expectations for so long and now they are being pegged back I don't know.

What I do know is 158 isn't enough to win every single time, and against a team that rates the same as me (I wouldn't be going off about 4k) I should be scoring more.

TBH Cyrus is right on and You're looking stupid PB.

R. Weeraman 7-0-36-0, P. Desai 52 (71b), C. De Valera 2 (8b)
End of over 24 (2 runs) - PyroNerds XI(119-5). 75 runs required from 26 overs. RR 4.96 RRR 2.88

Hmmm... Still in with a chance after that pathetic effort on a Flat? WTF

I know it's unlikely and these two will likely cruise to victory, but once I get through one of these two the batters are all 'poor' or below

Though RRR should see them take it easy, but who knows...

Master Q

R. Worm 9-2-24-2, S. Rayne 55 (103b), S. Msipha 0 (0b)
End of over 38 (7 runs) - SE Melbourne Thunder Dogs(118-5) RR 3.11

Looking ok vs Cyrus on a sticky. Just lost a wicket in Hunzvi, if I can bat out the innings I'll be liking my chances.

Losing some wickets but putting the runs up on the board. Just need to hang in there.

PowerBug

#86
Cyrus' lineup can't score over 160 on a Sticky, you'll be fine Q. :P

Edit: Just remembered I defended 158 on a Green, not sticky. In that case 130 will be enough Q. :P

Finished up on 168/8

If I can't defend that then there is something wrong with the game

PowerBug

hehehehe. :P

In my match vs CF, I'm either going to score 300 because of my highly aggressive batting orders, or I'm going to crumble for under 200 and get beaten. Thought it was worth trying to go big for the slight possibility I have of coming 2nd. :D

Q be getting nervous now. :P 85/3, it's in around 5 overs time where I have a special button that I hit which makes my opposition collapse. :P
