But yeah, Melbourne could very well take him, a big bodied mid is something they could definitely add.

Word is he didn't rock up to the Combine in the best physical shape.

Drafting Key forwards is easily the hardest position to draft, for example John Patton and Sam Day both taken in top 3 picks and have yet to develop into consistent players.

If you were to take him, best guess is he wouldn't be best 22 material until 2015 or 2016. Obviously there are exceptions to the rule but a midfielder is a lot easier to predict

He will probably end up going early so I'll have to begrudgingly slot him into my first round predictions pre draft but if I was a recruiter I'd take Gardiner and Marsh ahead of him.

Herald Sun lads have him going to Carlton iirc. They reckon the Tiges may grab him.

I think it's now becoming more of a certainty that the Tigers will grab Christian Salem should he be there.

Matt's performances pretty much speak for its self, I don't think his draft position would be too different if Brad wasn't in the picture.

I reckon Carlton would be pretty nuts to pass up Cam McCarthy given their needs (should he be there). As I've said before though, anything is possible.
