Nige

I also reckon Hanners and Lukey Parker could take their games to another level in 2014.

And yes, as speck mentioned, the AFL is going to see the awesomeness that is Mark Hutchings absolutely shine in 2014.

But the likes of Majak Daw and Jarrad Grant should have some big ppg increases in 2014!

Grant averaged 77 this year. 16.6 possessions and 1.6 goals a game. Where is the improvement going to come from?

I'm wondering which team will be the port Adelaide of 2014. They gave us Westhoff, Monfries, Wingard, Boak, Kornes, Hartlett and Wines who all bolted out of the blocks. This year I'm thinking it could be one of North Melbourne, Essendon, Brisbane, Gold Coast or even Port Adelaide again?

If one team can do it i reckon North can.

cant count norf they are almost and should already be a top 8 side port was dreadful and close enough to bottom of the ladder last season....

agree norf should have a big move up in all areas especially ladder position.

but for me it will be the DEES under roos, with a few smart trades and a superb coach and complete new culture. new captain will also help this team could be the port ...

doubt they will play finals like port but to even go close to the 8 or even win a few games and not get thrashed every game will be the biggest improvement of any club?

otherwise i'd say GCS. ready to push for top 8 contention, but again they are not coming from as far back as port was either...

It's not so much where they came from, but which team will fly out of the blocks and give us some breakout players

sorry misunderstood :)

Saints maybe, not so much fly out of the blocks but i see a few kids coming through there in the rebuild phase.

anderson, ledger several others

maybe a few lions too will break out but probably in other clubs :) docherty polec karnezis

I think saints will get worse before they get better, but they've got some good kids now and they've got someone like Sharenberg to come in.

Mitch Duncan would certainly be up their, as mentioned Cam Guthrie is one of Geelong's cleanest and most skilled players. Ellis has to be a lock. David Swallow I think he assert himself on the comp in 2014 and as for GWS, I love Shiel and I also think Toby Greene is a jet.

Ricochet

Stephen Coniglio, Harley Bennell, Shane Savage, Mitch Duncan
