Didn't Goddard aswell?

Yeah, I think Goddard might finally lose his defender status and he might not be a must anymore. Has served well for years and years but this could be the end. Time for blokes like Mcveigh, Walker, Suckling, Birchall, Hanley, Thompson etc. to be your back 6 from now on. Will be interesting.

Yeah, i wouldn't pick goddard in the midfield.
I've already locked in Birchall/Suckling(both in 2012) and McVeigh if he does get DPP. I'm not so keen on Hanley

Chris Knights likely to be cheap enough to select as a decent mid price or is he not going to be consistent enough?

He would've been one of my biggest locks last year but wasn't named in round one. He's recovered from his knee injury and he can have a good pre season I would pick him. He would play on a forward flank and potentially rotate into the midfield.

Got one more player who I'm seriously looking at to do what Andrew Walker did this year.

Averaged low 80's so should price around the $430k but in his last 7 games averaged 113 with 5 tons. He can seriously play.

Brandon Ellis is who you are talking about right?
Crazy not to pick him in 2014
Only if he's a defender but there's a 99% chance he'll only be a mid.

No I'm not talking about him actually haha, that's why I hope he stays unique, as I think he has what it takes to have a fairly consistent year and average 100+ which is awesome for his should be price.

Yeah Ellis should be a Mid but if he does have DPP he would be a 100% lock.

Nah, i think its kade simpson who he is talking about  ;)

Hansen???

If people have the balls to go with him, he has the potential to be the next Sam Fisher.

Matty Lobbe...has arrived and won't be as cheap ever again...though he won't exactly be cheap next year either ;) Locked in.
Gunston had a great finals series and will be a relatively cheap buy in fwds.
Only two I'm really considering at this stage...others will be proven, rookies or discounted types.

Nige

Yeah, I'm actually giving thought to Jack Gunston.

Southstorm

Yeah, I'm thinking Lobbe as well. Not to concerned about which midfielders will break out because unless they're proven guns and in the top handful of players, I'm not going to be touching them. Will be looking closely at breakout forwards and defenders though, strongly considering Patton even though he might be underdone.

Vinny

The thing with Lobbe is Redden going to take over? :-\

Fantasygun

I've never thought much about him. I know he's been playing for a few years but Michael Rischetelli, could he possibly be a decent SC pick. I don't think he played much this year

blues123

really stuck on which 2 to pick for Mid 4 & 5

options are libba, beams, j. steven, cotchin and watson
