Anyone else find these rankings odd?

Particularly:

How could Travis Cloke be ranked the 22nd best forward in the competition? How can Tom Hawkins be so high after his injury plagued year?

Ziplock

oh yeah, it's absolutely shocking lol.

Basically it's based on the last 40 games of the player but only in the last 2 years and it takes into account effectiveness, location of disposals, amount of pressure the player was under and distance gained towards goal/away from opposition goal.

Well, over the last two years:

Travis Cloke has scored 127 goals, 347 marks (incl. more contested than anybody else in the league), 653 disposals compaerd to Hawkins 110 goals, 233 marks, 483 disposals.

This ratings system is stupid. It only rewards players who get metres and run the ball down the field, the finisher doesn't get many points. A stay at home forward like Cloke gets nothing. Same with key backs, because they don't get position, they get a crap ranking.

Long goals under pressure are ridiculous

Master Q

More importantly how is Dangerfield two and Rioli ninth #overratedplayers

Haha just ignore them dude, they are stupid. Injured players are in the Top 10.

How about that bloke at number 53 and 5th in the forwards list i think his name is Chad Wingard, I heard he can play a little.

PowerBug

I love how Shannon Hurns ranking has increased as the year has gone on. When they were first released he was 40ish, hasn't really played since, now is 27th. ;D

oi ossie, Schulz and Hoff > Cloke :P hahaha
Leader of the King Karl Amon fan club

Hurn is so good he doesn`t even need to play a game of footy just his presence is enough

Mr.Craig

In a year where the AFL ruined a perfectly good website, this was one of their lamest "innovations".
