I don't understand how you make the TAC cup team of the year and not get drafted? Interesting they've got him on the field over Parker,  8) I'm excited about this one!

This seemed like the best thread to post this;

Why have we for four seasons in a row played Freo once and that's away?
2011: Round 12 at Subi, loss
2012: Round 13 at Subi, win
2013: Round 3 at Subi, win
2014: Round 4 at Subi, ?

Good for me to get to games and we've won a lot of them over here recently.

Weird but yeah not complaining, counts as a road trip and we seem to have a stellar record over there

Patty Ambrose the only surprise for me.

On another note Jason Winderlich has touted Zach Merrett as the next Luke Power,  8)

Ambrose not really a surprise to me i read an article saying he would be one of the fittest players at the club

David Myers elevated to the leadership group ahead of Hurley and Zaharakis, seems a but odd to me, Zaha and a hurls both look more like leaders on field from what I've seen.

yeah players don't have to be in the leadership group to be leaders if they are natural leaders they don't need to be in the leadership group i don't know its hard to explain and some players just might not want to be in it even though they are leaders in the team

Hahah bit of a mouthful there mate! But I know what you're talking about - Many strong leaders would much rather be seen as onfield leaders by their peers than be seen my everyone else in the public as apart of the leadership group - Players handle it differently and you have to respect if they don't want the hassle or scrutiny of being named in the leadership group.

Toga

Yeah I know what you mean as well KB - like last year when Chris Newman handed over the captaincy to Cotch, he also left the leadership group despite still being one of the team's best on-field leaders last year! Some blokes don't need to be recognised by the public as "leaders" to do what they do best 8)

Bones Bombers

I'm ok with Hurls and Zaka leaving the leadership group. They need to concentrate on there fitness and improve their own games.
Neither have quite lived up to expectations yet.
They can still lead others on field and set good examples.
